Build a Strong Foundation Before Baby Arrives
Breastfeeding success begins long before your baby is born.
Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, preparing during pregnancy can help you feel more confident, reduce stress, and give you a personalized plan before you bring your baby home.
At Heldwell, we don't believe parents should have to wait until something goes wrong to receive support. Our prenatal services are designed to help you understand what to expect, identify any unique challenges ahead of time, and begin your feeding journey with confidence.
LACTATION SUPPORT PACKAGES
How We Help
At Heldwell, we believe the best support is personalized, ongoing, and built around your family’s unique needs.
For families who want a trusted partner throughout the transition into parenthood, Heldwell From the Start provides concierge support through your baby’s first three months, with in-home visits, ongoing communication, priority scheduling, and personalized guidance along the way.
Sometimes you need a trusted expert for a particular moment, not the entire journey. Our shorter-term care options are designed for specific questions, challenges, or seasons—giving you personalized guidance and a clear plan for what comes next.

Prenatal | Start with a plan—and a relationship.
We’ll meet for a personalized prenatal feeding consultation to get to know each other, talk through your goals, review your health and any factors that may affect feeding, and prepare you and your partner for those important first days with your baby.
Visit One | Support for the First Days
We’ll assess feeding, latch, positioning, and milk transfer, check baby’s weight, and create a personalized plan for the days ahead. This visit gives us the opportunity to identify concerns early and help you feel more confident.
Visit Two | Building Confidence
We’ll check baby’s growth and feeding progress, revisit anything that came up during your first week, and fine-tune your plan based on what’s actually happening at home.
Visit Three | Growing & Adjusting
We’ll check in on your feeding routine, address any new questions or challenges, and make sure your plan continues to work for your family. We can prepare feeding transitions on the horizon.
Visit Four | Looking Ahead
As you settle into your new rhythm, we’ll focus on what comes next, whether that means pumping, introducing bottles, preparing to return to work, changing feeding goals, or making sure you feel ready to navigate the months ahead.
Because no two families are alike, your care is flexible. We'll determine together when each visit will be most valuable based on your baby's needs and your family's goals.
